Attending the majority of modern professional events feels like a job, a hustle. We believe that events can provide both, professional content and an opportunity to disconnect. Self-care is important and this is why at TET Events, we design events to be functional alibis.
A functional alibi, as Anat Keinan
from Boston University puts it, is a practical excuse for enjoying ourselves. With this in mind, we build TET events so that fintechs want to come not because they “should” but because they want to - we prioritize quality of the gatherings and meaningful professional connections made over size of the crowds attending.
This fundamentally different way to think about professional events makes attending a TET event feel unlike going to a mainstream conference. We want attendees to have an experience and an excuse to relax while gaining and sharing valuable knowledge and participating in intimate networking with leaders in the industry.
As such, you will not find a TET Event hosted at conference halls or big name hotel chains. Instead, we seek unique locations with strong natural elements that are remote enough to allow attendees to disconnect for a brief moment but also convenient enough to provide easy access to for busy professionals. We host professional gatherings in settings that are casual, relaxing and inspiring at the same time.
